The event occurred on August 4 in the parish of San Buenaventura, located in the community of San Félix, when only the parish priest was Father Manuel Nunes and deacon Pablo Holguín.
"In the last robbery the thieves managed to enter the parish house. They knocked on an inner door that overlooked the complex, opened it, and then gagged and beat us. They took our keys and started to open places inside. They asked us and we had to tell them, "said August 10 to ACI Prensa P. Nunes.
The stolen computers belonged to a job training center that operated inside the church and was intended for young people aspiring to have a technical profession. The cart was owned by the deacon's family.
"There is still the fear that they will return because the machinery used to teach blacksmithing is still inside," said the priest, who also assumes that the criminals did not take these items because the stolen pickup truck was small.
No profane deeds were performed inside the temple. The theft of the objects was reported on the same August 4 to local police, who are still continuing investigations to find out the whereabouts of the malefactors.
"The previous priests suffered two robberies in a forceful and serious manner. In the first robbery that happened approximately two years ago, during the celebration of Easter, one of the criminals shot the priest, but the revolver did not work, "said Father Nunes, adding that the other robbery had happened in January 2015.
The priest lamented that in the parish they fear that "at any moment they will start stealing."
"In the courses we taught several times have come to steal cell phones. The same happens with a clinical laboratory that we have. Here you can not go out with a cell phone in your hand because they will surely steal it, "he revealed.
